I London After Midnight me li sono visti in Germania al Treffen Gothic Festival 2 anni fa....
inutile dirlo oltre 45.000 persone che all'AGRA (il palco più grosso del Treffen) hanno cantato "Sacrifice"...è stata una situazione musicale davvero memorabile...
Pensa che al Treffen Arcana,Sophia,Reason D'Etre, e altre bandz goth-etherial le hanno fatte suonare dentro una piccola chiesa abbandonata/sconsacrata (non stò mentendo) è stato incredibile alzare la testa e intavedere ancora vecchi affreschi scrostati mente sentivi Anderson e soci....(la struttura era una chiesa ne sono certo...)
Te lo immagini un festival così in italia ?
Se rompono ancora le palle per i Death ss e i satanisti in erba...

E se vuoi ascoltare un pezzo molto orecchiabile e ipnotico di consiglio SACRIFICE...il nome della band è un...misteroooo...

He conosco pure "questi signori" fanno parte dell'ottima scuderia "Black Widow"...
Comunque voglio raccontarti una leggenda urbana sui London, che tutti i frequentatori di locali dark/goth conoscono molto bene...molti anni fa quando Sean Brennan e soci non avavano minimamente il seguito di adesso furono chiamati in Italia e di preciso in un locale modenese anonimo che si chiamava Condor Disco dance (esiste ancora)...quello che si sa di certo è che ebbero problemi pure con l'impianto (rischiarono di fulminarsi..) e la leggenda (mica tanto) è che il padrone del Condor (il mitico Tony) come pagamento li risarcì solo della benzina e stop.
Come dire...la fortuna gli ha arriso...zzo.

Alexander spero tu abbia sentito il loro stupendo disco DIES IRAE un vero capolavoro in perenne oscillamento fra orrore macabro e romanticismo doloroso.

comprai a suo tempo nello stand della Black Widow e proprio in una fiera del disco l'album "The Sacrilege of Fatal Arms"...poi ebbi la geniale idea di prestarlo e...saluti.
Della Black Widow immagino tu conosca "E tu vivrai nel terrore" che stò ascoltando proprio orora...una delle raccolte più horror del millennio (oso dire) per quanto parecchi gruppi Metal/Goth/Dark cerchino di avvicinarsi alle tinte horror...solo Black Widow ne ha carpito l'essenza.

Un gioiello di musica alternativa...già dal titolo si respira che è una raccolta/tributo di enorme valore e spessore culturale...

Chairo che ho "e tu vivrai nel terrore" !
Comprato appena usci, un vero capolavoro!

E poi ci sono i fantastici IL SEGNO DEL COMANDO

Una altra bandz che ti cosiglio sono i NOSFERATU capaci anche se non sempre di realizzare album crepuscolari e romantici...se vuoi avere un piccolo saggio delle loro capacità cerca sull'edicola del Mulo la song "Dark Angel"....


Atmosfere cupe e romantiche per un


Dark Rock molto raffinato ed eclettico.
